"Mother Teresa and Me" is an empathetic film with warm and radiant characters. It is about the mysterious interweaving of two women's lives: The young Kavita with Indian roots in London and, in mirror image, the adult religious sister Teresa from North Macedonia with her missionary élan in India.
The contradictions between the two women seem human and convey a hopeful message of compassion.
The film by Kamal Musale shows the light and dark sides of the famous founder of the order. As Mother Teresa, Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz from Zurich not only lives these doubts of faith but also makes clear the inner drive of the benefactress.
